Course Description⚓︎
About the course⚓︎
A weekly seminar where we read, present, and debate recent papers in data analysis and machine learning. Each student picks a paper (or a cluster of papers), breaks it down for the group, and fields questions — learning to critically evaluate research and communicate findings along the way.
What you will do⚓︎
- Present — prepare and deliver a talk on a paper or topic
- Review — write structured peer reviews of your classmates' talks
- Discuss — ask questions and participate in post-talk discussions
Communication⚓︎
All announcements go through your group's Telegram channel — make sure you have joined it. For questions to your instructor, use email with the tag [NIS FCS] and your full name in the subject line.
Schedule⚓︎

How It Works⚓︎

Rules⚓︎
- Students can propose their own papers as long as they fit the seminar topics.
- Papers should be from 2024 or newer; CORE A / A* venues preferred.
